Scholarship Opportunities
-
2007-2008 School Year
The following is a list of scholarships that have come through the Guidance Office for 2007-2008. More information on the following scholarships is available in the Guidance Office and/or on the website listed in the scholarship description.
Student financial aid comes in three main forms; loans, grants and scholarships. Loans are money that you borrow from the government that must be repaid upon graduation. Grants are money that does not need to be repaid and is usually based on financial need. Scholarships are also money that does not need to be repaid, and are usually based on merit, special talents and academic achievement.
Along with the following list of scholarships from our Guidance Office, you can also look for scholarship opportunities on the internet. A list of safe and reliable scholarship websites can be found on the right hand side of the Guidance webpage under “Financial Aid and Scholarship Information”. Another great way to find scholarship opportunities is through the financial aid office of the college you will attend.
