Students Celebrate Women as a Force for Positive Change at NDMU

John Carroll Students at WOW School Day

On November 1st, ten JC students attended the WOW School Day as part of the Women of the World Festival at Notre Dame of Maryland University.  Women of the World is an international movement of festivals that celebrates women as a force for positive change and takes a frank look at the remaining barriers to gender equality. Some of our 10th and 11th grade females joined students from around Baltimore to celebrate their uniqueness. They heard presentations from women who inspired confidence in science, art, music and entrepreneurial endeavors.
