Girls Lacrosse

June 24–28
Session 1: Grades 6–9, 9:00–11:00 a.m., $150

John Carroll’s Future Lacrosse Camp provides players the opportunity to develop their individual skills and increase their lacrosse IQ. The camp will be led by Patriot's Varsity Coach Laura Seifert. Assisting Coach Seifert will be other coaches and alumni of the girls' lacrosse program. Activities will focus on key elements of the game including passing, catching, shooting, dodges, draws, defensive footwork and small sided games. Each player will need to bring her own lacrosse stick, cleats, sneakers, goggles, mouthguard and water. Campers will receive a T-shirt. This camp is intended for grades 6-8 and incoming 9th graders.

Boys Lacrosse

July 8–10
Session 1: Grades 1–5, 4:00–5:00 p.m., $70

Session 1: Come learn from the Patriots Lacrosse coaching staff and work on the fundamentals of the game. Camp will include instructional teachings along with competition-style games. 

Session 2: Learn from the Patriots Lacrosse coaches and experience a high school/college-style practice. Camp will include drills that are aimed to improve your all-around skill level along with competition-style games!

Softball

Grades 2–8, June 24–27, 5:30–7:30 p.m., $110

Camp will provide instruction on learning the fundamentals of playing fast-pitch softball. The focus will be on offensive and defensive skills such as hitting, throwing, fielding and base running. Kids with all skill levels are welcome. Campers will receive instruction from John Carroll Head Softball Coach Sherry Hudson, Assistant Coaches Cierra Mizurak and Erica James, and student-athletes from the 2024 Team. This camp is intended for grades 2-8.

Tennis

Grades K–8, $195

Join John Carroll Coach and former Division I tennis player Kaitlin Loftus and local high school players for a week of fun on the tennis courts! We will work on hand-eye coordination drills, tennis strokes, footwork and agility, and overall fitness while keeping the main focus on having fun! This camp is intended for grades K-8.

Volleyball

Grades 5–10, $165

Beginner: A week-long camp coached by Boys Volleyball Head Coach Jordan Smith, focused on introducing and enhancing the skills necessary for beginner volleyball. Camp emphasis on instruction, technique and fun! This camp is intended for rising 5th–9th graders.

Intermediate: A week-long camp coached by Boys Volleyball Head Coach Jordan Smith, designed for intermediate volleyball players. It is the expectation that players have some middle school or club volleyball experience. We will spend the week learning and developing the skills necessary to succeed in high school volleyball. Camp emphasis on instruction, technique and fun! This camp is intended for rising 5th-10th graders.

Cheerleading

Grades 1–8, June 17–20, 5:30–8:00 p.m., $195

Join John Carroll head coach and former Division 1 cheerleader, Shaunna Rivera, her coaching staff and current program athletes for a week filled with skill development and fun! Participants will work on jumps, tumbling, stunting, motions and dance technique, as well as overall fitness and performance! Participants will be divided into two age-level groups and will learn and perform material for parents on the last evening of camp. Please bring water bottle and snack, and wear athletic clothing with hair pulled back and jewelry removed.

Baseball

Session 1, Skills & Drills for Middle Schoolers: June 17–20, 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Session 1: This camp is specifically designed for middle school players. Learn fundamentals while competing and training with players from all over the world. Morning drills will focus on playing the game the right way and each day will end with a competitive game where campers will show off what they have learned. This camp is intended for rising grades 6-8.

Session 2: This camp is specifically designed for the younger campers. John Carroll’s Varsity Baseball Coach will teach the fundamentals while focusing on having fun. Morning drills will focus on playing the game the right way and each day will end with a competitive game where campers will show off what they have learned. Girls Soccer

John Carroll's Elite Soccer Camp provides players with the opportunity to develop their individual skills and fitness levels. The camp is led by Varsity Head Coach Hayley Howe. Fellow John Carroll coaches, current players and alumni of the girls’ soccer program will assist Coach Howe. Activities will focus on key elements of the game including first touch, ball control, attacking open space, passing accuracy, defending, finishing, and strength and conditioning. Each player will need to bring her own soccer ball, cleats, sneakers and water. Campers will receive a T-shirt. This camp is intended for rising grades 8–12.

Weightlifting

Session 1, Introduction to Weightlifting: 9:30–11:00 a.m.

Join Lisa Schultz, John Carroll Strength and Conditioning Instructor and Certified Personal Trainer, to learn the basics of strength training: proper form and technique of strength training exercises for the major muscle groups, warm-up and cool-down stretches, and gym etiquette. Students will learn the benefits of strength training, including increased strength, muscle growth, confidence and self-esteem.

JC Dance Experience!

Join us for a one-week immersive dance experience at The John Carroll School! Instructed by our esteemed Dance Faculty, dancers of all ages and abilities will come together to create an end-of-week dance production that will be performed in our Auditorium while enjoying daily technique classes in several dance genres including, ballet (pointe for those eligible), modern, contemporary, jazz and more! Fun and enrichment guaranteed! Children entering grades 1-8 are eligible to attend and will be divided up based on their current dance experience and age. This dance experience will both challenge the most serious dancers and inspire those stepping into the studio for the first time. Kids on Broadway

Grades 2–8, $280

This one-week theater workshop is designed to initiate students to all aspects of performance — voice, acting, dancing, movement and auditioning. Students present a full Broadway Junior Production on Friday for family and friends. Students should dress comfortably and must wear character or jazz shoes, or sneakers and bring their own lunch and snack. All students receive a Kids on Broadway T-shirt and script. This camp is intended for grades 2-8.

Health History & Waivers

IMPORTANT: Your registration is not complete until you fill out the online health history and waiver forms available here. It is mandatory that these forms be completed prior to the first day of camp. Failure to comply would result in your child being unable to stay and participate.

Medication Administration

John Carroll medical providers will not accept or dispense medication. Inhalers and epi-pens must be self-carry, accompanied with signed physician orders and presented to John Carroll Medical Personnel at check in. If campers do not have self-carry orders, a parent/legal guardian must remain on campus to carry/administer medication. In order for your child to receive and/or carry medication including EpiPens and inhalers, you must print, complete and return the form by the first day of camp.
