Welcome to the Patriot Family

At John Carroll, each student is known and valued.

From the time they arrive for freshman orientation to the moment they walk confidently across the graduation stage, our stellar faculty and staff take the time to care for our students and help them develop into the best possible versions of themselves.  Our excellent Catholic education and transformative experiences prepare students for college and beyond, allowing them to live their faith through their actions and make an impact on the world.  That’s why we say, “Patriots do!”

Our motto, “Patriots do,” comes from the Bible verse James 1:22: “Be doers of the Word.”  In a recent World Youth Day address, Pope Francis echoed this message.  “Go on the offensive!” he said. “Play down the field, build a better world, a world of brothers and sisters, a world of justice, of love, of peace, of fraternity, of solidarity.” Our students and alumni from across the globe are building that better world, whether it be working to provide clean water for people in third world countries or searching for a cure for the Zika virus.

At John Carroll, there are so many opportunities to make lasting memories and find a passion.  Start your own business in the Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurial Exploration (FLEX) Program.  Build a robot in the STEM Academy.  Express yourself on the stage in the new College Preparatory Dance Program.  Bond with your teammates on the athletic field.  Whatever your passion, John Carroll has a class or extracurricular activity to help you develop it.

We invite you to come visit our 72-acre campus and see how you can be a part of the Patriot family!

Sincerely,

Tom Durkin, Principal
