Choose your impact
Every gift of every amount has a tremendous impact on the lives of our students! Learn more about our current giving priorities below.
The Fund for John Carroll
The Fund for John Carroll is the School's annual giving program, top fundraising priority and an essential, strategic resource. The Fund directly supports the School’s greatest assets — our students and teachers. Tuition alone does not cover the full cost of a John Carroll education. Like the majority of independent schools, we rely on the generosity of our community to help close the gap between income and operating costs.
Designating your gift to the Fund for John Carroll helps provide a one-of-a-kind experience for each of our 720 Patriots, and for generations to come.
The Rollins-Luetkemeyer Foundation’s Matching Gift Program
The Rollins-Luetkemeyer Foundation has generously presented The John Carroll School with an exciting gift-matching program to support scholarships for deserving families with a joint household income between $60,000 and $130,000 annually.
This Rollins-Luetkemeyer Foundation’s matching gift program presents an exceptional opportunity for The John Carroll School to make its transformative education accessible to a wider range of families in Harford County and beyond. By offering financial assistance to middle-class households, we can eliminate barriers that might otherwise prevent talented and motivated students from receiving the quality education they deserve.
Over the next four years, the Foundation will gift the School $1 for every $2 contributed by the Patriot community, up to a total of $250,000. This initiative aligns with The John Carroll School’s mission and values, and we are confident that our community will rise to the challenge of supporting our students and unlocking this exciting match.
When making your gift, be sure to select or note “Rollins-Luetkemeyer Scholarship” to support this matching opportunity and increase the impact of your donation.
Save a Seat
When you "Save a Seat" in the Auditorium, you ensure it remains a vibrant space for learning, creativity and connection for generations of Performing Arts students. Celebrate your passion for the arts or honor a Patriot with this special opportunity, and be a visible part of John Carroll for many years and productions to come with the name of your choice displayed on a special commemorative nameplate on one of the new seats!
St. Jude Chapel
A fundraising initiative led by the Class of 1982, gifts to the St. Jude Chapel Renovations will enable generations of Patriots to continue to grow in faith, becoming young men and women of moral courage who share their God-given talents for the greater good.
Capital Investments
We have several exciting plans for investments in our campus through major projects and renovations! For more information on how you can support these initiatives, email Braden Wallace, Major Gifts Officer.
Scholarships
The School offers several merit-based scholarships to recognize our top students. When you support a scholarship, you're providing opportunity to exceptionally gifted and deserving students. For more information, email Kathy Walsh, Chief Advancement Officer.
Senior Family Gift
The Senior Family Gift is an opportunity for Seniors and their families to leave behind a legacy at John Carroll. The funds raised will support a physical campus project and contribute to the Fund for John Carroll, the School's annual fund. The project opportunities that have been identified by the School are small yet crucial ways our school needs refurbishment: a new water fountain in the Music Wing, a new water fountain and bottle filler on the first floor, or new tables in the Learning Commons.
