Important Admissions Dates & Deadlines
Below is a calendar of the important Admissions dates and deadlines for students applying for the 2023-2024 school year.
September 14: Online Registration Opens for the High School Placement Test
All applicants are required to take the HSPT which will be used to determine course placement as well as merit-based awards.
September 20: Shadow Days Begin
Do you want to know what a day in a life of a Patriot looks like? Between now and December 9, your student will be paired with a JC freshman or sophomore student ambassador and will attend classes, meet faculty, administrators, coaches, and other students. Most importantly, your student will get a true feel for a day in the life of a JC Patriot and begin to picture themselves as a part our community, where every Patriot has a story! Space is limited so sign up early! Be sure to fill out your interests so that we can best pair you with a current student. If you wish to be paired with a specific student, please email firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 48 hours prior to your visit.
September 27, October 12, November 15, December 7: Discovering John Carroll “The unique way of experiencing Open House”
All families will be invited to hear a brief overview of John Carroll and the admissions process before heading to their breakout sessions.
