A focus on fostering servant leaders
We promise every John Carroll student and parent that we will provide a Catholic foundation of values, challenging academics and real-life experiences so our students will embrace opportunities and excel as responsible participants in the global society.
Our dedicated faculty and staff not only teach school subjects, but model and help develop a moral compass that guides students for the rest of their lives.
Worship
Every morning, the John Carroll community begins in prayer. As part of our commitment to prepare students to be spiritually centered and morally grounded, we provide numerous opportunities to participate in liturgy and prayer.
Retreats
Our four-year retreat program offers all students an opportunity to reflect and pray on their spiritual and moral development as Patriots.

Service is at the heart of our mission
The John Carroll School seeks to instill in students a mindset of service and highly encourages direct service to the poor, infirm, or homeless.
We continually work “to develop in our students, the attitudes, values, knowledge, and skills to empower them to accept their obligations as human beings to contribute actively, intelligently and responsibly for a better world as they strive daily to ‘act justly, to love tenderly and to walk humbly with God,' their ultimate end."Philosophy, Paragraph 4
