At The John Carroll School, we realize the decision to choose a high school is a critical one. Students arrive in their early teens; they leave as young adults. Those four short years make all the difference in their desire and ability to envision and fulfill their dreams.

We encourage interested families to visit us. Meet our teachers. Talk to our students. See our school at work and at play. We are proud of our rich tradition of excellence and confident about our future, dedicated to the loving service of young people.

The John Carroll School accepts college-bound students who are motivated and eager to learn and succeed in an academic environment. High school candidates are evaluated on the basis of their middle school performance including academics, conduct and attendance, standardized test scores and performance on the High School Placement Test (HSPT).

The School admits students of any race, religion, nationality and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made to students at the school. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, nationality or ethnic origin in the administration of our educational and admission policies.

Affiliated with the Archdiocese of Baltimore, John Carroll is a member of the Association of Independent Maryland Schools, accredited by the Middle States Association of Schools and approved by the Maryland State Department of Education.

"At John Carroll, I was able to discover my passion for science, and that helped me figure out exactly where I wanted to go to college."
