We offer safe, convenient transportation options for students to and from school with departure locations in Harford and Baltimore counties.
Approximate morning departure and afternoon destination arrival times can be found below, as well as a form to sign up for John Carroll transportation services.
Information & routes
Buses leave John Carroll at 3:45 p.m. daily. Please note, stops are subject to minor adjustment based on rider interest.
The anticipated pricing for the 2025–2026 school year is $2,000/round-trip and $1,100/one-way (a.m. or p.m.). Charges will be included in your tuition payment plan.
Bus transportation agreement
The purpose of the Agreement is for the Student and Parents to understand John Carroll’s expectations when the student rides the bus.
- The total cost of transportation will be shared by all riders’ parents, billed to the Student Account.
- Parents signing this Agreement understand that they are obligated to make their payments regardless of how many days, weeks or months their students ride the bus.
- Behavior on the bus is to be in agreement with The John Carroll Student Handbook. The School reserves the right to enforce the policies of the Student Handbook. Parents agree to make full restitution for acts of vandalism by a student.
- The John Carroll School is responsible for meeting the safety standards specified by the Maryland State Motor Vehicle Administration Rules and Regulations Governing the Transportation of School Children (11.02.06) as amended.
- The John Carroll School will draw up the bus routes and times of boarding and departure.
- Parents are to register concerns and/or complaints directly to The John Carroll School, which will be responsible for resolving the matter.
- Each parent will fulfill his/her financial obligation to the school. In the event that this does happen, The John Carroll School reserves the right to deny the student’s attendance, examinations or diploma.
