Black & Gold Award Winners
The most prestigious award issued to one male and one female Senior, the Black & Gold Award recognizes students who are consistently compelling in their accomplishments, thoughtful and considerate toward others, and uncompromising in their commitment to being a model of excellence and force for good.

SGA Leadership Award
The SGA Leadership award is given to a Senior who demonstrates exemplary leadership and character in accordance with the values of The John Carroll School.
The John Carroll School Awards
Academic-Athletic Award
The John Carroll Academic-Athletic Award is given to the Seniors who represent the finest qualities of academic and athletic achievement.
Academic-Fine Arts Award
The John Carroll Academic-Fine Arts Award is given to the Seniors who represent the finest qualities of academic and fine arts achievement.
School Spirit Award
The John Carroll School Spirit Award is given to the Senior male and female who made the greatest contribution in the area of school spirit and involvement.
Academic Awards
Religion Medal
The Religion Medal is awarded to a Senior who has maintained a 90% average during his or her John Carroll years. In addition to academic excellence, the department also considered community service, parish commitment and personal life-style in making the selection.
Eagle of the Cross
The Eagle of the Cross is an award for youth and young adults sponsored by the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry. The award is given to a youth or young adult who best exemplifies apostolic mission, Christian Leadership and moral integrity.
World Languages Awards
The World Languages medals are awarded for excellence in the conscientious study of a world language for four years.
Academic Team Medal
The Academic Team Medal is given to the Team member who has shown the most commitment, dedication and success on the Team.
