Announcing the Class of 2027 Carroll Scholars
On Sunday, March 26, The John Carroll School hosted a welcome lunch for its newest group of “Carroll Scholars,” incoming freshmen whose strong test scores and academic record earned them Archbishop John Carroll Scholarships. This lunch served as an opportunity for newly selected students to meet fellow scholars and future classmates, as well as the school’s administration and program faculty who will help to guide them during their high school careers.
Based on High School Placement Test scores and strong middle school academic performance, potential candidates are selected from hundreds of prospective students and are then invited to apply for the scholarship. Applicants undergo a rigorous screening process, including an interview with school administrators. From this pool of elite students, 14 were selected from the incoming Class of 2027 to receive the school’s highest merit-based scholarship.
