The John Carroll School Receives $80,000 Knott Foundation Grant
The John Carroll School is pleased to announce it was awarded an $80,000 grant by the Marion I. & Henry J. Knott Foundation following a competitive application and review process. The grant supports investments and technology upgrades in the recently renovated Auditorium to enhance performing arts and academic programing.
Specifically, the School will acquire new main stage speakers, an amplifier, a complete wireless microphone system and LED lighting. These investments will provide enhanced capabilities for our performing arts students and greatly improve the experience of the audience in a space that is enjoyed by the School and Harford County community.
The John Carroll School President Stephen DiBiagio shared, “John Carroll is extremely grateful to the Knott Foundation for its support of our Performing Arts and very talented students on the stage, behind the scenes and in the audience. The generosity of the Foundation enables us to continue to provide and host memorable experiences and growth opportunities for our students, families and guests.
The John Carroll School was also awarded a $30,000 grant by the Knott Foundation in 2021 to support the Physics curriculum and Robotics.
Marion I. & Henry J. Knott Foundation and The John Carroll School share a strong commitment to Catholic education, academic excellence and opportunities to develop future leaders.
